The orca—known as the Killer Whale in indigenous tradition—is a guardian, not a predator. For Pacific Northwest communities, it symbolizes family, unity, and balance. Like the pods that move as one through coastal waters, this sculpture reflects connection and strength.
CNC-cut from 1/2" aluminum (20.5" diameter), the Killer Whale is mounted to locally sourced Pacific coast cedar (22" x 22" x 1/2")—the same origin timber as the rest of the edition, cut to a square format for this release. The cedar is cured and finished with traditional burn techniques, creating a second artwork that roots the sculpture in the forests and waters of our coast.
Killer Whale - Dark Copper - Special Edition
This is the last piece from a commissioned edition created as exclusive gifts for valued clients. Nine have been placed—this final sculpture closes the series.
The cedar board shares the same Pacific coast origin as the rest of the edition, cut to a square format for this release.
Culturally significant and locally crafted, this sculpture is a powerful addition to any home or office—with the added collectibility of a closed edition.
